Verizon goes DOWN: Outages in US state as locals report lack of service for mobile phones and internet
Verizon is down for customers in Michigan, leaving them with cell phone and internet service.
Local outlets reported the outage around 10 a.m. ET, saying thousands of local residents are affected.
DownDetector, a site that monitors online disruptions, shows that mobile phones, 5G home internet and ‘No Signal’ are the most commonly reported problems.
Although the website shows several other states in red, these issues are likely people trying to call friends and family in Michigan and not connecting.
Users have reported that their phones are in ‘SOS’ mode, where your phone has lost normal cellular connection and can only make emergency calls.
