Toffees boss Frank Lampard hopes the game will free up funds for January transfers.
Lampard has underscored a desire to strengthen his attack with Dominic Calvert-Lewin dogged by injury over the past year.
Rondón, 33, was signed by Everton for Rafa Benítez, but he arrived without being in shape or sharpening the game and did not achieve the desired impact.
He did some extra work last summer to ensure he could compete for a place, but he was a peripheral figure, mostly used off the bench.
Although well regarded and a model professional, Rondón has agreed to leave in the interest of greater first-team opportunities elsewhere and has several clubs already showing interest.
Lampard hopes the striker’s departure will free up wages for a potential loan signing in January, although the reality is that Everton will likely need to change more bodies in the coming weeks to accommodate the quality signing the manager is hoping to attract.
The forward has scored three goals in 31 appearances since joining the Merseyside club in 2021
