Vegas UFO mystery deepens as police install cameras at home where residents reported seeing ‘aliens’

The UFO mystery in Las Vegas has deepened — as police installed high-tech cameras outside the home where residents reported seeing “10-foot aliens with big shiny eyes.”

Doug Poppa, a former police officer who follows the story of the mysterious object falling from the sky, said he was baffled as to why the Las Vegas Metro Police Department placed surveillance cameras outside.

He interviewed the family who called twice – telling him that the police had installed the camera to ‘protect’ them from UFO fanatics who might harass them.

Despite being skeptical, Poppa, who is a podcaster, said he believes the family has some credibility.

A Vegas officer’s camera picked up the object at about 11:50 p.m. April 30 after a resident reported something “100 percent not human” on their property, local TV station 8 News Now reported.

The images show a bright blue ball of light traveling at high speed through the dark sky.

About 39 minutes after the initial call, another resident called 911 and said there were two unknown entities in his backyard after seeing an object fall from the sky.

“There is a person 2.5 meters tall next to it and another one inside us [sic] and it’s got big eyes and it’s looking at us — and it’s still there,” the homeowner told police in audio obtained by the TV channel.

Mr Poppa wrote on Twitter, along with an image of the alleged cameras: ‘THE VIDEO CAMERA SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM WITH WIRELESS TRANSMISSION CONNECTION THAT I RECORDED AT HOME ON 19TH MAY MUST HAVE BEEN A MIRAGE OR AN IMAGINATION OF MY IMAGINATION IF THE LAS VEGAS METRO POLICE IS TOO TO BELIEVE.

‘NICE INSTALL BAG (TECHNICAL AND SUPERVISORY PATTERN).’

He told NY Post“The mother told me they had come out and put up the cameras, supposedly to protect the family from people who would harass them with the UFO.”

“But I can tell you right now. The police don’t come out and put up such expensive video equipment – and they certainly wouldn’t if someone reports a report of a UFO.’

During the initial 911 call about the alleged UFO and alien sighting, the caller said, “In my backyard. I swear to God, this isn’t a joke, this is actually – we’re terrified.”

‘They are very big. They are about 8 feet, 9 feet, 10 feet. They look like aliens to us. Big eyes. They have big eyes. For example, I can’t explain it. And big mouth. They are shiny eyes and they are not human. They are 100 percent not human,” he claimed.

The responding officers expressed their trepidation at the strange occurrences.

“I’m so nervous right now,” you hear a cop say to his partner.

“I got butterflies, man – saw a shooting star and now these people are saying there are aliens in their backyard.”

“I don’t believe in it, but what I’ve seen now, I do believe in it,” one of the reported witnesses told police.

The area of the alleged sighting was searched and the witnesses questioned, but no new information was found.

This comes after the Pentagon whistleblower, who claims the US has been running a top-secret UFO retrieval program for decades, says some of the “non-human intelligences” discovered are malicious and have even killed humans.

David Grusch served in the Air Force for 14 years, where he said he was told about the program by others involved.

Grusch, 36, is a decorated Afghan combat officer who went on to work for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).

His role was to act as NRO’s representative in dealing with the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force. The task force was created specifically to investigate UFOs.

For the past week, he’s been getting out what he says it entailed, telling NewsNation how the US is in an arms race with Russia and China to understand extraterrestrial life.

In his most recent comments, he says that the “non-human” intelligences have acted with malice – even killing some people.

“I think the logical fallacy there is because they’re sophisticated, they’re nice. We will never really understand their full meaning and that’s because we are not them.

“But I think that what appears to be malicious activity has happened.

‘That is based on research into nuclear sites and witness statements.

“While I can’t go into details because that would reveal certain US covert operations, I was informed by a few people on the program that there were malicious events,” he said, when asked specifically if any people had been killed.

Grusch also made the astonishing claim that the US government would do anything to protect the secret – including killing people themselves.

“I saw at least substantial evidence of white-collar crime…unfortunately.

“I’ve heard really un-American things that I don’t want to repeat now,” he said.

Grusch submitted his report in July last year. The Inspector General of the Intelligence Community called the complaint “urgent and credible” at the time.

“There is a sophisticated disinformation campaign targeting the American people that is extremely unethical and immoral,” he said, accusing the US government of lying to the public for “decades.”

“We are certainly not alone,” he said, adding that “quite a number” of aircraft have been discovered.

The Pentagon denied having any knowledge of the program Grusch described last week, but said it would follow ongoing investigations into his claims “wherever they lead.”

The House Oversight Committee also says it will investigate his claims.
