VB invents a BUTTON that delivers a case of beer to a drinker’s house each time it is pressed

If you’ve ever opened the fridge hoping for a nice refreshing beer only to be disappointed to find it empty, then Victoria Bitter’s latest invention is sure to put a smile on your face.
The Melbourne-based beer producer has teamed up with alcohol delivery service Jimmy Brings to launch a button that drinkers can install in their home that will deliver a case of beer as soon as it’s pressed.
Dubbed ‘The Big Green Button’, the magical device will magnetically stick to a refrigerator door.

To insure against any accidental requests, the device must be tapped twice.
The first touch will play an ‘iconic VB tune’, while the second and a 375ml box of stubbies in a customer’s Jimmy Brings cart.
Luke Calavassy, director of Jimmy Brings, says the device will make ordering your favorite drinks easier than ever.
“Just when you thought ordering through Jimmy Brings couldn’t get any easier, we’ve proudly partnered with VB to bring the Big Green Button to life,” he said in a statement.
The first tap will play an ‘iconic VB tune’, while the second tap and a 375ml box of stubbies to a customer’s Jimmy Brings cart.
“Now VB lovers can have a box of stubbies delivered to their door in minutes, at the touch of a button.”
Sarah Wilcox, Director of Classic Brands at CUB, VB’s parent company, said the new device reflects VB’s focus on innovation.
“As one of Australia’s favorite beers, we’re always looking for new ways to deliver to our loyal customers in easy and exciting ways,” Wilcox comments.

A six-pack is currently listed on the Jimmy Brings website for $24, plus a $6.95 shipping fee.

Customers order through their website or app, and the alcohol is delivered in about 30 minutes, depending on the exact delivery location.
The company has yet to announce how much the button costs and how to buy it.
