The New York City Ballet Fall Fashion Gala 2023 turned out to be a star-studded affair in New York City on Thursday evening.
Vanessa Williams was among the celebrities and high-profile people who lent their support to the event at Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater.
Before the ceremony, the 60-year-old actress, singer, producer and dancer took to the red carpet, where she struck a number of poses for photographers in a navy blue dress with silver accents at the top.
The former Miss America, who is married to Jim Skrip, accessorized with some bling, including dangling earrings, a bracelet on her right wrist and a ring.
To complete her overall look, the actress had her long locks dyed blonde and pulled away from her face into a center-parted ponytail.

Vanessa and Jim celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary last July 4.
Williams enjoys sharing images of her four adult children on Instagram, including Sasha Fox, 23, who she shares with ex-husband and retired NBA star Rick Fox. and her son Devin Hervey, 30, and two daughters Melanie Hervey, 36, and Jillian Hervey, 34, all of whom were the result of her first marriage to film producer Ramon Hervey II.
The former couple had been married for about ten years when they finalized their divorce in 1997.
She was married to Fox, who was best known for his time with the LA Lakers, from 1999 to 2004.
Although Williams holds the distinction of being the first African-American recipient of the Miss America title, she would resign just weeks later after a scandal arose prior to the publication of nude photos of her in Penthouse magazine.
But in the end, Williams showed great resilience by bouncing back from the controversy and achieving success throughout her career as both an actress and singer.

NYCB’s annual Fall Gala celebration of ballet and fashion was created by Sarah Jessica Parker, Vice Chair of NYCB’s Board of Directors, and launched in 2012 with a gala celebration from legendary designer Valentino.
Since its inception in 2012, this annual gala of ballet and fashion has raised more than $27 million for NYCB, according to Dance information.
Chairs for this 11th edition of the event included Parker, along with co-chairs Georgina Bloomberg, Andy Cohen, Laverne Cox, Claire Danes, Hugh Dancy, Jill Kargman, Diane Kruger, Mazdack and Zanna Rassi, Jordan Roth and Lizzie Tisch.
Some of the other high-profile people on hand to lend their support included Matthew Broderick, Norman Reedus, Amy Sedaris, Wes Gordon, Paul Arnhold, Patti LuPone, Dianna Agron, Naomi Watts, Ariana DeBose, Justin Theroux, Sofia Hublitz, Molly Ringwald, Victoria Brito, Nicky Rothschild-Hilton, Bridget Everett, Ubah Hassan, Deborah Roberts, Al Roker and Karen Pittman, and many others.
