The Fantastic Four is expected to hit theaters in July 2025 and will be directed by Matt Shakman.

The film will reportedly “focus on Marvel’s First Family.”

The first film adaptation of Fantastic Four, released in 2005 and starring Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis, grossed $154.6 million in the US and $333.5 million worldwide, despite a budget of $100 million.

The 2007 sequel suffered a slight decline, grossing $131.9 million in the US and $301.9 million worldwide, against an increased budget of $130 million.

However, the film received scathing reviews and it was reported that the production did not go smoothly. The film grossed a disappointing $56.1 million in the US and $167.8 million worldwide, despite a reported budget of $120 million.
