In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, the TV sensation explained that she is not particularly looking for love, but believes she will eventually find 'something nice'.
She revealed that while she doesn't have a list of criteria for her next man, she does want someone with a “twinkle in the eye.”
Vanessa, 61, was engaged to cheater Ben Ofoedu, 51, but split from him in January after 17 years after finding 'sex text messages' to another woman.
Since then, the blonde beauty has become one of the country's social butterflies, as in recent days she launched her new clothing company – 4Love – and fills her evenings with family and friends.

Speaking about her new single and dating life, Vanessa said: It's not easy, and it takes guts.
“I've told people a million times, 'It's a numbers game,' and I really believe that.
“I mean, you go on as many dates as possible and maybe you end up finding something you like. And that's what I do, I do my best.'
Although the star has gone on quite a few dates since her devastating breakup, she shared that another notable person had yet to come into her life.
She said: 'I've been on a few dates and no one stood out, unfortunately.
'I just want someone who can benefit from it. It's just something, you know. They don't have to be pretty. It doesn't have to be a specific profession.
'You don't have to, but just like a twinkle in the eye and a giggle and a joke and something, you know, because some people are very, very flat and a bit straight, you know, they do that.

Although the star has been on quite a few dates since her devastating break-up, she shared that she has yet to have another notable person come into her life since appearing on Celebs Go Dating.
When asked if she's looking for something serious, Vanessa joked: 'I don't know anything about serious; all will be well in a storm. I'm looking for something old, yes. Roll in…'
“You end up having a conversation that's so polite and there's nothing wrong with that. But there's nothing good about it. It's not, you know, it's not exciting.'
The fashionista revealed that while she isn't looking for love and doesn't feel rushed to jump into anything anytime soon, she would like a companion.
She revealed that since she has been single, many people have warned her how hard it is to date, and sometimes she wishes people wouldn't comment.
When asked if she's looking for something serious, Vanessa joked: 'I don't know anything about serious; all will be well in a storm. I'm looking for something old, yes. Roll in…'
'No, no, no, I don't. I'm not looking for anything, that's the truth, but it would be nice. I would like to end up with someone I like and who likes me back. I think that would be fun,” she added.
“I think most people would, but I'm not in that panicky rush to do it, and I know it's not easy, and unfortunately everyone keeps telling me how hard it is. I wish they wouldn't do that, but they really do.'
Vanessa tried out Celebs Go Dating when she was ready to dip her toes back into the dating pool.

She said that although the reality show had its ups and downs, she would love to do it again.
She said: If I'm still single next year, I'll do it again. With pleasure. And this time I will be on my best behavior.”
The star was criticized for “delusional superiority” and “rude attitude” on the show, but an unlikely army of Generation Z followers on TikTok accused the Channel 4 show's matchmakers of “gaslighting” her for her outspoken behavior.

Speaking about her new clothing line, she said: 'I realized there was a real gap in the market for a woman of a certain age. It could be any age, it could be twenty, it just depends on your personality.
'A woman of a certain age who wants to look beautiful, feminine, life-affirming, cheerful, colorful, festive but not attention-seeking, vulgar and openly sexy.
'So you just wear all these dresses over your head, no zippers, no buttons, nothing. No confirmation. I am single; I have no one to cheer me up.'
Vanessa's new clothing brand, which can be accessed via her Instagram, has been a huge success. The TV personality explained that the clothes sold out in the first two days.
