Explaining that her three-year-old grandson Amiel had found a rock with ‘Change’ inscribed on it, she noted that ‘it must be a sign’ while appearing to reference her recent split from fiance Ben Ofoedu.

She and the singer were together for 16 years, before Vanessa was heartbroken last month when she found out he had been unfaithful.

And their trip to the beach comes just one day after one of the women who had an affair with Ben spoke up and shared that she fell “desperately” for the ladies’ man.

She added an Arsenal Football Club beanie to her wavy blonde locks, sharing a video of herself holding a red shovel with a stone inside that had the word “change” engraved on it.

Speaking to the camera, the agony aunt said: ‘Can you believe this? I’m on the rockiest of rocky beaches and look what my grandson just found. It’s a stone that says ‘change’, I feel like it’s a sign.

Vanessa has been sharing snaps from the trip over the past few days and added #healing to a caption on Monday when she arrived in Ireland.
