Vanessa Feltz has shared an update after confirming that she has split from her partner of 16 years, Ben Ofoedu.
Amid reports that he cheated on Vanessa multiple times, Vanessa told fans she was “incredibly saddened, disappointed and shocked” in a video posted to her Instagram page Sunday afternoon.
The candid video was met with a plethora of supportive comments from friends of the broadcaster, including Carol Vorderman and Holly Willoughby.
“Well I haven’t been on Instagram for three weeks and that’s because my relationship with Ben ended after sixteen years and I honestly didn’t know what to tell them on Instagram,” Vanessa, 60, told her followers.
“But now it’s clear that it’s over and I really feel that once you lose trust in a relationship, you can’t get it back and that’s what I would tell anyone else to do.”

Her voice cracking, she continued, “So, I just wanted to say that obviously I feel incredibly sad and I’m pretty disappointed and shocked and all that horrible stuff, but also full of resolve.” I’m not going to let this defeat me.’
“I am very happy to live longer than my mother, she died at 57 and by the Lord’s prayers, I am going to be 61 next month.
I’m very, very grateful to be alive and I want to keep feeling that way and I want to celebrate and find fun and laughter wherever I can.
“I know it’s not going to be easy, but I’m absolutely determined to do it.”
Vanessa has revealed that she has split from her fiancé Ben, amid claims that he “cheated on her with various other women”.

But former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Vanessa is said to have been distraught to learn of Ben’s “double life.”
This Morning regular Vanessa reportedly found a series of social media messages and emails from Ben, 50, to other women.
She said: “I thought it might take a bit longer before this came out, because it’s a lot to deal with, a shock like this requires a bit of adjusting, but I’m extremely saddened and disappointed that my relationship of 16 years with Ben it’s over.
“As a dying aunt, I have said many times that once trust is lost in a relationship, it can never be repaired or recovered. So I have to take my own advice this time.
Her video on Sunday was inundated with comments from Vanessa’s famous friends and colleagues with Carol Vorderman writing: “He’s a… and you’ve survived much, much worse V… you ARE a survivor and I can’t wait to be.” “. go out with you… as you know.’
Her This Morning co-star Holly Willoughby, who Vanessa went out with on Saturday night, added: “We just love you to pieces…”
