Vanderpump Rules stars Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz issue PSA to urge fans not to cheat despite their prior infidelities: ‘Don’t have a f***ing affair’

Vanderpump Rules stars Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz may be known for cheating on reality TV stars, but they don't want their fans to go down the same path.

Sandoval, 40, and Schwartz, 41, both released a public service announcement (PSA) on the former's podcast Everyone loves Tom to not choose infidelity, despite famously doing so as documented by their Bravo series, which led to one of the biggest celebrity scandals of 2023.

Schwartz started the conversation by saying, “You need to give a PSA right now. If you are unhappy in your relationship [or] If you feel lost or have experienced feelings for a coworker and it starts to escalate, don't do it.

'Do not do it. Just sit down and have that very awkward conversation with your partner. Go to therapy, or just say it's over. Don't have a damn affair!'

Earlier this year, Sandoval was involved in a cheating scandal so big it was nicknamed Scandoval after he cheated on fellow castmate Rachel Leviss while dating Ariana Madix for more than nine years.

In March, it emerged that Vanderpump Rules star Sandoval had cheated on his nine-year-old girlfriend Ariana Madix (center) with their co-star Raquel Leviss (right), pictured in 2022

He agreed, “One thing that really stuck with me was the insecurity I had in myself. I felt like. “Oh my god, I can't lose this other person because I'll never get this.”

'I had such insecurity about myself that I felt that if I let this go, it will never happen again. Which can [find that again]. And trusting that is much safer than staying, doing and living in that.'

Sandoval went on to say that he was in a low place and lacked self-confidence when the 29-year-old reality star gave him attention and that he was attracted to it.

He explained, “I was in a position where I had so little self-confidence and such low self-esteem in that aspect, and that aspect that, like the whole Rachel thing, I was having a hard time.”

Sandoval said he was her biggest cheerleader and fan “but here she is a beautiful girl and she comes to me. And I don't deserve this.'

His co-host Jason Bader said he believes Sandoval knew he was in something “not good” and his mind kept being filled with other bad things.

Sandoval responded, “Yes, and then you become addicted, you hold on to that feeling you had when you were with that person and you start to hide from reality for the rest of your life. And you like to get lost in that.

“Dude, I look back on that now and I'm like, 'Holy s***.' And Schwartz and other people around me saw me and I was fucking transfixed and barely there.”

Schwartz added that he was a “background character” in Sandoval's life at the time.

Sandoval was caught up in the media frenzy in March when it emerged that Tom Sandoval had cheated on his nine-year-old girlfriend Ariana Madix with their co-star Raquel Leviss, now Rachel.

The couple had been together for nine years and owned a house together in Los Angeles, but that all came crashing down after Tom had an affair with their mutual friend – who changed her name back to Rachel after the scandal.

Tom immediately became a hate figure and had to hide from the public after being 'shunned across the country', even having to keep his friends and family at arm's length due to the abuse they started receiving online.

Although he still stars on the show, Rachel quit the Bravo TV series after a stint in a mental health facility.

Tom has since confirmed he is no longer in contact with Rachel, claiming she pushed him aside when the scandal came to light.

He explained: 'We were best friends. It's heartbreaking to go through it. I was completely in love with her. She's not just a hot girl. I was a model for fifteen years – it goes deeper than that.

“The way she just scared me away…I don't know, I'm not in her head.”

Schwartz is also no stranger to cheating, as he hooked up with a woman in 2017 while still married to Katie Maloney.

The drama played out on an episode of Vanderpump Rules that aired in January 2018 when Katie was left a crying mess when fellow castmate Lala Kent let slip that Schwartz had made out with one of her friends, Allie, during a night out in early 2017. .

“Bubba, I don't remember this,” Schwartz told Maloney when she heard the news.

“That doesn't mean anything,” she shouted.
