Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay denies nose job rumors but admits she understands the plastic surgery speculation

Vanderpump Rules’ Scheana Shay addressed the ongoing rumors that she had a nose job during an episode of her podcast. Scheananigans with Scheana Shay.

After confirming she recently got Botox, the 39-year-old reality star denied going under the knife to change the shape and size of her nose, despite years of fan speculation.

“Despite public opinion, I rightly haven’t had a nose job, but I really understand why everyone thinks I have,” the mother-of-one said.

She continued, “When I see a picture of me [Vanderpump Rules] season 1, specifically from the right side, and then I see a photo of me from season 11 – with perfect glam – from the left side, my face looks really different on both sides.”

As for why she almost always poses from the left side, the TV personality, who is married to Brock Davies, explained that she simply prefers that angle of her face.

“I know my angles,” Shay told listeners. ‘But I completely understand. When I see a before and after side by side, I think, “Damn, it looks like I got some work done.”

She noted that if she had had work done, she “probably would have gotten a really good deal on it” or traded the price of the procedure for a post on her social media channels.

“I would have posted about it. So no. If I get anything done in the future, you’ll see it,” Shay stated.

Last year, Shay revealed that “the casting directors for 90210 are some of the reasons why ‘she’ ended up getting Botox.”

“They told me my facial expression for Disney was great. But for a more dramatic role, I had to learn to control my eyebrows,” the former SUR waitress recalled on her podcast.

While talking about her eyebrows, she joked, “This one has a mind of its own, and this one would squint.”

During another audition, Shay recalled having trouble landing parts because of her facial expressions.

‘They said, ‘The role is yours, here’s your callback. The role is yours, we want you for this, but we’re also bringing in some other girls because if you can’t control your facial features, then ‘I’m not going to give it to you,'” the artist said.

Shay revealed that she was advised to ‘maybe try some Botox’ and ‘started’ getting the injections when she was around 24 or 45 to get rid of her ‘resting bitch face’.

In October 2021, while appearing on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Shay shut down chatter on social media about whether she had “work done.”

‘I don’t have Botox! That’s what’s different! My face is moving,” she told host Andy Cohen.

After Cohen asked if there was really nothing else, not even fillers, Shay said “no” and that she was “breastfeeding full-time” and “of course.”

“I promise,” she said to Cohen and the cameras.

Shay previously confessed that she struggled to avoid getting Botox during the COVID-19 pandemic.

‘I hated it. At the beginning of the pandemic, that was the first time I didn’t have Botox. Because everywhere was closed, of course. So for the first time in almost a decade, I got a sneak peek of my moving face,” the star said on the channel Breaking beauty podcast in 2023.

She added: ‘I honestly got so used to it that I didn’t get it again until I decided I was done breastfeeding.’

“But the first time I went, because it had been so long, all the muscles in my face… I needed twice as much,” she mused.

In 2016, the West Covina resident explained that she gets Botox “every two and a half to three months” because she “can’t stand forehead wrinkles showing up on camera.”

‘It makes me crazy. I’ve had Botox since season one. So people say, “Oh my God, she’s done so much work.” I’ve literally had this since I was 25. Consistently, because I don’t like my face moving, only when I smile,” she shared People.
