Vanderpump Rules star Peter Madrigal has furiously denied his co-star Tom Sandoval’s claims that his mistress Raquel Leviss is currently in a mental health facility.
Peter, 38, fired back at Sandoval during a performance at the Undressed with Pol and Patrik podcast, and in an exclusive DailyMail.com clip, urged Raquel, 28, to retreat to the lavish Miraval Resort and Spa to “get away” from things — not, as his co-star has repeatedly claimed — to undergoing mental health treatment.
Miraval Resort and Spa is not a mental health facility. It’s not a rehab,” he said in the interview.
“It may be a retreat, but when you start saying it’s a mental health facility, it’s literally in the title Miraval Resort and Spa.” It’s a spa,” Peter continued of the resort, which states on its website that it serves alcohol because it believes in the “moderation of all things.”

“I’d feel bad if it was a mental health facility and I understand if you have to leave. When you go to a resort and spa, you want to get away from it all,” Peter — who briefly dated Raquel in 2022 following her split from former fiancé James Kennedy, 31 — reveals during his podcast appearance.
In an interview with TMZ On Tuesday, Sandoval — whose nine-year relationship with Ariana Madix, 37, was destroyed over his fling with Raquel — said he was at Miraval Resort and Spa during his escape, but Raquel was not.
‘Guy. I’m just gonna tell you. Raquel is in a mental institution. No visitors,” said Sandoval, now back in Los Angeles.
‘She’s here. Or she decides to tell you where that is afterwards. There’s Rachel. No visitors. No press. No family. No phone. No nothing.’
Raquel first hinted that she was going to seek help after her explosive affair, known as Scandoval, went public.
On March 9, she alluded to treatment in an Instagram post, saying, “Beyond the indefensible circumstances surrounding our relationship, my feelings for Tom have always been genuine and have grown out of a loving friendship.”
“Knowing how many people we hurt, I need to understand my choices and learn to make better ones. I have to take care of my health, work on self-development and take the time to accept being alone.’
The former beauty pageant winner added: “I care about Tom and I don’t want to label or predict what’s ahead. I have to heal now.’

In April, a representative for Raquel told People that she had entered a “mental health and trauma therapy” program in Arizona, insisting it was not rehab.
Where are Sandoval and his mistress now?
Apparently they’re on a break, as Sandoval stated they’re “taking a bit of a break” during a recent appearance on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast.
When asked if they were “friends with benefits,” Sandoval said, “Not now.” He also said during the same interview that they are “still good friends” and that they “don’t put a label on anything.”
When asked how their secret romance started, Sandoval told Howie: “We were at my house, and I’m locked out of my house and we talk and we kissed. It was magnetic.’
“We got closer and while we were talking, time went on, and we talked closer and closer, and suddenly we kiss. I felt something I hadn’t felt in so long, emotionally, for instance,” Sandoval said.
Regarding his decade-long relationship with Ariana, he said they drifted apart when he chose to stray. “We were together for nine years and had obviously built a house and business together and everything. We were a brand,” Sandoval said.
He revealed that the two “just lacked intimacy” and they didn’t have the “connection” they once had. “And like many relationships, it became more of a best friend, family, sometimes roommate situation,” he explained.
In a preview clip on April 21, Schwartz told Sandoval, “I don’t know why I’m not more attracted to her. There is no sexual chemistry. I have a gut feeling that she’s a little in love with someone else.’
Sandoval replied to his business partner, “Yes.” At that time, Sandoval’s affair with Raquel was in full swing.
Sandoval is the fourth Vanderpump Rules cast member that Raquel has become intimate with.
In December 2021, Raquel and James broke off their engagement and five-year relationship, stating that they had “two different goals.”
After going on a few dates with Peter in 2022, Raquel was caught making out with cast member Tom Schwartz, 40, at Scheana’s wedding to Brock Davies’ in Mexico in August 2022.
The tropical fling at Scheana’s wedding took place just six months after Schwartz split from his wife of 12 years, Katie Maloney, 36.
Katie was a guest at Scheana’s wedding and was completely taken aback when she saw Raquel and Schwartz making out in the pool at the resort where the wedding was being held.
Scheana was still on team Raquel at the time. That ended abruptly when she learned of the affair while the two were in New York City for a taping of Watch What Happens Live.
While in the Big Apple, Ariana first confronted Raquel about the affair and called her up. Scheana overheard the conversation.
When Raquel confessed to her, the two got into a physical altercation, which led to Raquel issuing a restraining order against Scheana, claimed to have beaten her.
The restraining order was rejected by a judge when Raquel failed to show up for a hearing.
Since then, Scheana cut all ties with Raquel and called her ‘devils.’ Appearing on the Undressed podcast earlier this month, she said she edited her wedding photos and removed Raquel, who was a bridesmaid.
“I decided to edit all my wedding photos and put Lala’s face on Raquel’s,” Scheana admitted. ‘I had to. I don’t want that b***h in my pictures.’
