Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney hints that Raquel Leviss was lying in reaction to her shocking Bethenny Frankel interview
Vanderpump Rules personality Katie Maloney subtly slammed her co-star Raquel Leviss on Instagram on Wednesday, after part one of Leviss’ revealing interview with the Bethenny Frankel podcast was released.
Maloney, 36, left a comment in response to a preview clip of the controversial interview with Leviss, 28, which Frankel, 52, posted on her page saying, “What the hell is this?”
In a clip she posted to Instagram Stories, Maloney alluded to Why You Always Lying? – a popular song by Vine star Nicholas Fraser with lyrics about lying.
“You know that trending sound or song… that was like, ‘Why the hell are you lying?'” Maloney said. “That’s been stuck in my head all morning for some reason.”
Maloney, who reclined in bed applying a stone roller to her face in the clip, added in a caption, “Can’t figure out why.”

The interview with on the Just B with Bethenny Frankel podcast was the first comment Leviss made about the cheating scandal involving Tom Sandoval – nicknamed “Scandoval” – since the Bravo show’s tenth season reunion aired last June.
Leviss, a one-time beauty queen, made some shocking accusations in the interview.
She said Sandoval made an “intimate” clip without her permission from FaceTime; and that she hadn’t seen any extra money from Bravo since the lucrative scandal broke earlier this year that undermined Sandoval’s nine-year romance with 38-year-old Ariana Madix.
Leviss said in the chat with Frankel that she and Madix “weren’t best friends,” which she thinks was a “story” that circulated amidst the controversy to make it “more bawdy.”
Leviss said she and Madix were “acquaintances who became friends through the show,” and that they “never” hung out when they weren’t working on the Bravo series.
Leviss clarified that she felt Madix had always been “really sweet” to her, but stopped short of classifying their friendship as close.
“She stood up for me and encouraged me to pursue whatever I was, I don’t know… chasing,” Leviss said. “And that was all great — but we never had a deep conversation that I would have with a best friend.”
Speaking about her relationship status as Sandoval worries, Leviss said in hindsight her romance was little more than a fleeting fling.

Leviss said she “can look back and see that I wasn’t in love with him,” and that she “didn’t believe he was really in love with me either.”
Sandoval provided a “non-judgmental zone” that Leviss said she “needed right now” following her split from fiancé James Kennedy in late 2021.
Leviss didn’t explicitly reveal her status for the 11th season of Vanderpump Rules, indicating she wasn’t excited to weather the storm for the show’s upcoming season.
She said as reality TV producers, “They’re always dangling that carrot in front of you, like, ‘Well, you’ve got to tell your side of the story or it’ll be written for you.’ And that’s terrifying.’
Leviss said she “almost went back” to the show “just because of that.”
