A 26-year-old woman has sent TikTok users into hysterics after sharing how she managed to break her boyfriend’s toilet while visiting family.
Kennedy Calwell, from Vancouver, Canada, was meeting his partner Nick’s family for the first time when the unfortunate incident occurred.
She had flown to Toronto to meet the parents, but after using the facilities for a number two, she had a mishap: she found she couldn’t flush the toilet.
While trying to “fix” the problem herself, she ended up accidentally breaking the toilet seat, which crashed to the floor.

Panicking, Calwell filmed the result and shared a video of the scene on TikTok through his account. @kennedyaleggedly.
In the clip, which has been viewed more than 3.1 million times, he describes the “emergency situation” and shows the smashed remains of the toilet.
She concludes: ‘So now not only do I have to tell my boyfriend and his family that there’s a pacifier in the toilet, but my pacifier broke the toilet… this is so embarrassing.’
The unfortunate mishap left users in hysterics. One person commented: ‘Important question: is there a large window to go out?’

After breaking the toilet, Calwell said that she had to reveal what had happened to her boyfriend. Luckily, he took the blame for the incident.
Calwell said of the event, “I just stood there, staring at the mess I made in shock for a couple of minutes before realizing what an embarrassing, awkward, silly situation I was in.”

Fortunately, Calwell has been able to see the funny side.
“I find it funny and I’m glad it all worked out, although I’m a little embarrassed that more than 2.5 million people have heard a story about my poop,” she told NeedToKnow.online.

Sharing more details of the embarrassing event, he continued: “At first I thought it was no big deal and I could easily fix it by opening the top and playing with the handle, but nothing was working.”
“I didn’t worry until I realized I didn’t know how to fix it, which is when I started to panic a bit.” As I was putting the piece back in the toilet, I tripped and dropped it on the floor, completely destroying it.
“I stood there, staring at the mess I made in shock for a couple of minutes before realizing what an embarrassing, awkward and silly situation I was in.
“I laughed and then did a panic induced TikTok about it.”
In a follow-up video, Calwell explains that she was forced to tell her boyfriend, Nick, about the incident, and luckily her parents weren’t home at the time.
Instead of being angry about it, she said that Nick ’emptied my drug’ and took the blame for everything.
Many commenters said that was impressive of him.
Calwell said that Nick “got a good laugh” when he found out about the incident and called her parents to blame them without her asking.

Detailing the chain of events afterwards, Calwell said, “I realized I had to tell Nick, because there was really no way out of the situation.” There’s no window to get out of, no pet or toddler to blame, no direct way out of the house without my boyfriend seeing me.
He laughed so hard at me and then called his parents (without me asking) and told them that he had accidentally broken the toilet. He didn’t mention the jalopy.
Fortunately, Nick’s family also found the situation funny.
Calwell added: ‘Her family laughed. They have four kids, so they’re pretty used to things getting broken or damaged around their house, but they joked that Nick had to do extra chores over the holidays to make up for it.
‘Two of Nick’s brothers have already seen [the TikTok] and called him about this incident. They think it’s funny, but now I’m thinking it’s just a matter of time before their parents find out. [it was me]!’
