Valerie Bertinelli, 64, SPLITS from Mike Goodnough, 54, after 10 months of dating

Valerie Bertinelli has split from her boyfriend Mike Goodnough.

The Food Network alum, 64, and the writer, 54, had been dating for 10 months. “They are no longer in a relationship,” a source said People on Tuesday

The couple met on Instagram and at first it was like that strictly platonic, but in January 2024 they became close because it “felt familiar” and there was a “comfort level.”

They became Instagram official in April 2024 and walked their first red carpet together two months later.

The actress told People in July that being a long-distance couple was “challenging.”

When she first went public with the romance, she explained the attraction.

‘His voice had the most beautiful timbre. I was like, “Oh, I can’t talk to this guy right now because that’s really sexy,” she said.

“We both had strong feelings and tried not to admit them,” she added.

They went public in April.

“I’m Valerie Bertinelli’s boyfriend… and that might be one of the most surreal lines I’ve ever picked out.

“But it’s true… and nothing about our actual relationship seems surreal. It just seems… good… happy… a gift,” he wrote on his Substack called Hoarse Whisperings.

They officially hit the red carpet at the Daytime Emmys in June.

Bertinelli opened up about her romance during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show in April.

“He wasn’t supposed to come into my life, and here he is. He’s 10 years younger,” the Hot in Cleveland star said without naming him.

“He’d like to think he’s complicated and brooding, but he’s thoughtful, kind and ridiculously talented,” Bertinelli said.

‘He’s a great writer. He’s beautiful, so hot. He does it for me. We all have our type, like he’s just hot,” she said.

She now has a regular job on Drew’s show.

Bertinelli was married to the late Eddie Van Halen from 1981 to 2007; he passed away in 2020. She was then married to businessman Tom Vitale from 2011 to 2022.

Her last Instagram post was on Sunday when she revealed she is voting for Kamala Harris.

“Your voice is your power,” Valerie’s caption began.

‘I am proud to cast my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. I add my power to the millions of women who demand the rights to our own bodies.

‘We demand our right to reproductive care and reproductive freedom. We demand that our rights are not taken away from us.

“We vote for the beautiful women and children who died as a result of the inhumane laws passed by more than twenty states after Roe v. Wade was repealed.

‘We’re not going back.

“And besides, the beautiful citizens of Puerto Rico are Americans.”
