She joked: “I kind of like him.”

The caption read: “I drink what you think and I’m high from smoking your jokes all night.”

The post racked up more than 86,000 likes in just a few hours, and Bertinelli also shared it via Instagram Stories and included Swift’s track.

It comes two days after Goodnough, 53, revealed his identity in a Substack post and confirmed their romance.

Goodnough went into detail in a post titled Rumours, Rumours, Rumours… in which he explained how his romance with Valerie came about.

“I’m Valerie Bertinelli’s boyfriend… and that might be one of the most surreal sentences I’ve ever picked out,” Goodnough wrote in an essay.

“But it’s true… and nothing about our actual relationship seems surreal. It just seems… good… happy… a gift,” he added.

He continued, “Life is crazy, kids. It’s just like that. It will rain hellfire on you for years and bring you to your knees… and then the sky will open up to deep blue and love and call someone “Honey” because you just love her so much and feel so very much. grateful for the gift of that feeling, the gift of her.”

Goodnough said that amid “a certain bit of gossip” they were involved in, he decided to “address it head-on” and consult Bertinelli “out of respect” and “contact [her] in question directly to discuss the matter [her] before I wrote this.’

He listed Bertinelli’s impressive achievements over decades in show business, noting her successful TV career on both cooking shows and sitcoms, two Emmys, two Golden Globes and six books.

“The whole thing is crazy,” Goodnough said. “Still, now that it was getting out of hand, I thought I should say something about it.”

The writer added that he and his new girlfriend “had a humorous conversation about this whole thing,” and that “she was sweet and warm-hearted and just as you would imagine.”

Earlier this week, Bertinelli opened up about her romance during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.

“He wasn’t supposed to come into my life, and here he is. He’s 10 years younger,” the Hot in Cleveland star said without naming him.

“He’d like to think he’s complicated and brooding, but he’s thoughtful, kind and ridiculously talented,” Bertinelli said.

‘He’s a great writer. He’s beautiful, so hot. He does it for me. We all have our type, like he’s just hot,” she said.
