In September 2021, Aduba and Robert Sweeting were confirmed to have quietly tied the knot in a secret ceremony in New York in 2020.

Later that month, she shared a photo from the ceremony as she talked about the couple’s union, starting with a quote from When Harry Met Sally.

“When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. “When Harry met Sally,” she began.

“For some of us, it can feel like we’ve been waiting our whole lives for our special someone,” she added.

“My heart, my love – I’m so glad my life started with you last year. You are the best thing that ever happened to me,” she said of Sweeting.

The actress also opened up with a Mother’s Day post last month, where she shared her gratitude to all the moms out there.

Happy beautiful Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there. I honor you all,” she began.

“I was so blessed with an amazing mom who I’m really grateful to have had so many remarkable years here,” continued Aduba.

“I wish we had more, seen more together in the physical, but I know we share and make so many new memories together in the spiritual,” she wrote.

“God bless each of you who do this work, both the born and the elect. I hope you get the chance to enjoy your very special and well deserved day. I love you so much, mom! Thank you for being such a great mother to me. Love, your Zozo,’ she concluded.
