Usman Khawaja and his wife Rachel have opened up about some of the most personal aspects of their romance, including how they knew they had met the love of their lives – but the star player wouldn’t go anywhere near a question about their relationship.
The couple got engaged in 2016, have been married since 2018 and share daughters Aisha, three, and Ayla, two.
Rachel previously opened up about her decision to convert to Islam so they could live together at a special ceremony in 2017 – and now they have given cricket fans a revealing glimpse into their private lives.
When asked when they knew they had found the love of their life, Usman said he was blown away “after a few weeks” after meeting his wife for the first time, adding: “The more time I spend with her spent and the more we learned about each other. other, the more I knew she was the one.

However, when asked to name three things that irritate them about their partner, he refused to open up.
‘I love my wife, she is the best. Did I mention I love my wife? I don’t fall for this question. Fall!’ Usman said.
Rachel was more forthcoming.
“Uzzy’s inability to do more than one thing at a time,” she said.
