Usher FINALLY attends Las Vegas Aces game two years on from A’ja Wilson’s hilarious plea as pair link up on the court after defeat to Chicago Sky

R&B star Usher finally made his way to a Las Vegas Aces game on Tuesday night — two years after A’ja Wilson hilariously urged him to attend the team’s championship parade.

Wilson and the world-famous singer embraced after the game, with the two-time MVP handing him her jersey.

‘Dreams come true’, the WNBA’s X Account subtitled a fragment of the interaction.

In 2022, after the Aces won the WNBA championship, Wilson insisted that Usher be present at their title celebration.

“Usher, I need to see you, Usher,” she said at the post-match press conference. “I’m not going to play with you.”

The now 45-year-old was unable to attend the 2022 parade — or the 2023 parade after the Aces repeated as champions — but the Vegas native later invited the team to one of his concerts.

Wilson and her teammates accepted his offer and she was sung by Usher on stage in October 2023.

After watching the game between the Aces and the Chicago Sky, Usher also posed with Sydney Colson and Jackie Young.

Colson, Young and Wilson all stood next to the singer, smiling, despite their team losing 93-85 to the Sky.

Wilson played exceptionally well in the lost game, with 28 points and 14 rebounds.

Tiffany Hayes also added 19 for Vegas, while Young scored 17.

However, Chennedy Carter put in a great show for Sky as she scored 34 points in the win.

Rookie double-double machine Angel Reese added 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Sky, while Marina Mabrey scored 15.
