Usher and HER did just that in the music video for their new song: Risk It All.
On Wednesday, the U Got It Bad singer, 45, and the Best Part hitmaker, 26, dropped the steamy music video for their collaborative single from The Color Purple soundtrack.
In the visual, they stripped down to their underwear and performed a sensual dance as they sang the moving ballad about wanting to be loved.
Usher wore only black boxer shorts, while HER – who also stars in the new Christmas Day blockbuster musical adaptation of the beloved classic film – wore a corset top and micro shorts.
Not only their incredible physiques, the Grammy-winning musicians also showed off their emotions as they sang the lyrics with teary eyes and melancholy expressions.

On Wednesday, the U Got It Bad singer, 45, and the Best Part hitmaker, 26, dropped their steamy music video for their collaborative single from The Color Purple soundtrack.
In the beginning of the music video, directed by Dave Meyers, the singers stand in the middle of a revolving circular platform in a dark and empty room.
They sing together and perform an interpretive performance with scantily clad dancers.
HER rocked long dark hair and vampy makeup as she harmonized her silky voice with Usher's velvety tenor.
“I don't mind / Feeling like I'm gonna fall / Close my eyes / Baby, I'd risk it all / Just to be in love / Oh, I just wanna be / Be in love, yeah,” they sing, their voices merged in the moody piano ballad.
Their movements flowed together as several dance scenes were layered in double exposure effects for a dramatic touch.
Towards the end of the music video, everything slows down and they lie in a peaceful pile with the dancers.
In addition to writing (along with Jimmy Napes) and personally producing the song, HER also made her acting debut in the film musical The Color Purple.
In the feature film, which is based on the 1982 novel of the same name by Alice Walker, she plays Squeak.
In the visual, Usher was wearing only black boxer shorts and nothing else
He wore a gold chain but was otherwise shirtless, showing off his toned arms and abs
During their music video they danced sensually, also with other dancers
For most of the video they stood on a rotating circular platform. In the beginning of the video they were standing back to back
As the ballad and music video picked up the pace, there were double exposure effects to show the two R&B singers harmonizing and blending their voices.
In addition to their incredible physiques, they also showed off their emotions as they sang with watery eyes and melancholic expressions.
At one point in the music video, Usher got down on all fours while a scantily clad dancer stood above him.
He also showed off his strength when he effortlessly picked up another dancer and spun her around on his shoulders
Her character in the musical is Harpo's second wife and goes from a juke joint waitress to an aspiring singer.
As her nickname suggests, she is a gentle and ordinary person who then grows into someone who takes control of her own destiny and life.
The film, produced by Oprah Winfrey, was a box office hit as it had the second-biggest Christmas Day opening in history.
On its first day of wide release in the United States, The Color Purple grossed a whopping $18.1 million.
The film's official soundtrack lists Usher and HER's Risk It All as the second track.
The piano ballad will also be re-released as part of Usher's upcoming studio album COMING HOME, due sometime in 2024.
HER also put on a sultry performance as she leaned against a shirtless dancer
At one point they made a circle around her as she sang the soulful lyrics
As she sang, she was surrounded by shirtless male backup dancers on the platform
Later, the performers performed an interpretive dance around Usher and HER
Usher also danced with a group of women while singing about love and looking up at the sky
At the end of the visual, they lay down in a peaceful pile
The meaningful song brought tears to his eyes as he sang
The moving lyricism suffocated her
They were both shedding tears at the end of the captivating image
