USA Olympics basketball stars greeted by guard of honor after landing in Abu Dhabi – as Steph Curry is given a live falcon to hold
Team USA Basketball received a hero’s welcome when they arrived in Abu Dhabi ahead of their exhibition game.
The team was welcomed at their hotel by a group of performers performing a traditional Emirati Ayyala dance.
Players like LeBron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant were all seen during the ceremonial welcome.
Curry was especially surprised to be greeted by a live falcon at the hotel.
The Golden State Warriors star even got the chance to hold the bird, a national symbol.

Team USA comes from behind to win over Canada in an exhibition game
Team USA is coming off a comeback win over Canada after overcoming an early two-game deficit to their northern rivals.
Anthony Edwards led the game with 13 points and three rebounds, while Curry scored 12 points and Jrue Holiday had 11 points.
Anthony Davis also had a strong game, coming on as a substitute and recording a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds.
The US team will play two games in Abu Dhabi: one against Australia and one against Olympic group member Serbia.
Three days after the second friendly, they will play a friendly match against another group member in South Sudan in London. This will be followed by a friendly match against Germany in the English capital, just before the start of the Olympic Games.
Team USA will then play all three group stage matches in Lille: first against Serbia, then against South Sudan and finally against Puerto Rico.
