Macy Gray has turned down both post-show interviews for The Masked Singer following her elimination, it has been revealed.
The American soul singer, 57, was the latest star to be unmasked on the ITV show on Saturday when it was revealed she was the Toad In The Hole.
However, before Macy’s identity was revealed, she walked off stage as host Joel Dommett announced the sad news that she had to go home.
Following her chaotic unmasking, Macy refused to respond to ITV’s post-show questions sent to each contestant after elimination, according to The mirror.
A source said: ‘It’s normal for celebrities to answer a number of questions for an ITV Q&A, but Macy didn’t do it. This is only the second time in the show’s history that this has happened, so it shows how unhappy she was after the show.”
Macy also declined to appear on the spin-off show The AfterMask, hosted by host Harriet Rose.

Before Macy’s identity was revealed, she walked off stage as host Joel Dommett announced the sad news that she had to go home.
In a clip from the spin-off, Harriet speaks to producer Dan Nettleton, asking him, “What’s going on? Can you give me some information?
“We’re backstage with Dan now and he seems scared to answer these questions.”
“Nothing to worry about,” the producer says, laughing nervously, as Harriet continues, “Great, oh I feel relaxed now.”
Macy performed against Bear, Wolf, Pufferfish and Bush before being voted out and having to remove her costume head to reveal her identity.
But ITV viewers were shocked when Toad In The Hole stormed off stage before revealing her identity.
Moments later, the star returned to the stage and was revealed to be American singer Macy, who seemed unfazed by leaving the reality show.
A source claimed that Macy was completely “blindsided” by being one of the first contestants to leave the British show after reaching the final of the American version in 2023, in which she was disguised as the Sea Queen.
Macy was reportedly ‘shellshocked’ and ‘gutted’ that she left the hit ITV show so early despite happily joining the US version.

Speak with The sunthe insider claimed, “When Macy stormed offstage, everyone was frozen in shock, but as soon as she reached backstage, the crew removed her mask so they could talk her down.
‘It was both the shock for her and the upset and at that moment she reacted very raw and human and wanted to leave. For a professional artist to reach that point shows how bad she felt.”
MailOnline contacted ITV for comment.
Once she took off her mask, Macy wore a face of thunder and couldn’t hide her anger throughout the interview, answering Joel’s questions with blunt, one-word answers.
Watching the dramatic moment, viewers flocked to X to comment and they all said the same thing: how ‘awkward’ it all was.
Prue Leith was the first person voted off the show after being revealed as Pegasus, while Kate Garraway was the second to be voted out after being unmasked as Spag Bol.
It comes after host Joel, 39, revealed the Masked Singer’s return has “got crazier” as he said new show judge Maya Jama, 30, is “living a very ridiculous life”.

Joel told Principle Magazine: “It’s getting weirder and weirder. I think it’s getting weirder and weirder.
‘And if you thought it was weird, it gets even weirder. And we also gain more self-confidence as a production.
‘We’re adding more twists and interesting elements that you wouldn’t necessarily expect with the format.
“It’s just fun and we really enjoy it, but the production allows me to do pretty much whatever I want.”
The Masked Singer continues on ITV1 and ITVX on Saturday January 18 at 7pm.
