US Open champion Aryna Sabalenka’s beauty secrets revealed after stunning post-match transformation

This week, tennis star Aryna Sabalenka made history by taking home this year’s US Open trophy in a thrilling match against Jessica Pegula – her first ever.

But after winning the stunning competition, Sabalenka underwent a quick transformation by hair and makeup artists for the championship photo shoot as she celebrated her big win in New York City — and FEMAIL has all the details of her vibrant glamour.

Belarusian-born Sabalenka quickly changed into a sparkling, sleeveless red turtleneck dress with a thigh-length slit, which was complemented by her tanned look by her makeup artist Monika Krenck and loose waves by Julien Farel stylist Jonn Rhamani.

The look was completed with a matching coat of red nail polish and a pair of chic, strappy heels.

“The red nightgown was the epitome of happiness, you know?” Rhamani told DailyMail.com.

“So we wanted to give her sexy, sultry curls instead of beach waves,” he continued.

To bring his vision to life, Rhamani used Julien Farel’s Restore Shampoo, along with the salon’s volumizer for some texture and bounce.

While curling the tennis player’s hair, Rhamani admitted that they really had to “work” the volumizer in, as it had rained that night and they wanted to make sure everything would stay put.

Fortunately, that happened – and Sabalenka looked stunning as she took her photos for the championship photo shoot and afterwards.

“She’s already got great hair… so I was already working with great material, as they say,” he explained of the tennis champion. “It’s a great canvas.”

As for her makeup, Sabalenka’s makeup artist, Monika Crouch, went for a radiant, bronzed look to match her post-match look.

Crouch also felt it was important to emphasize Sabalenka’s natural beauty.

“I looked at some pictures of the makeup she’s worn before, and I just wanted something really classic,” Crouch explained to DailyMail.com.

“She’s beautiful. She’s got really good, striking features,” Crouch said of the US Open winner

“She’s gorgeous. She’s got really beautiful, striking features,” she continued of the US Open winner. “So I thought it would be good to do something that would accentuate her classic beauty, so I put a lot of bronze, beautiful skin.”

The makeup artist only had 20 minutes to complete the look, so she had to work quickly — starting with the $69 Armani Beauty Luminous Silk foundation and mixed it with a bit of the $47 IT Cosmetics CC cream which has a brightening finish.

Next, she applied the $32 Saie Sun Melt Natural Cream Bronzer in the shade medium, along with a touch of Westman Atelier Peach Highlight, as well as the $23 Rare Beauty Soft Pinch liquid blush and a Nars concealer.

For Sabalenka’s eyeshadow, Crouch used a mix of two palettes: Too Faced’s $54 Better Than Chocolate Eyeshadow Palette and a bronze-colored Tom Ford palette that’s unfortunately discontinued called Coco Mirage.

There was one aspect of her eyes, however, that Crouch wasn’t so sure about at first: whether or not to put eyelashes on the tennis star.

But she eventually did it, and she tells DailyMail.com that it helped pull the whole makeup look together.

“It always opens your eyes and it’s really good for photographs without being overpowering or dominant,” Crouch said.

She used Ardell Naked Lashes in size 420. She calls them “beautiful” and they are “short” yet “full,” she explains.
