Gardai (Irish Police) said they were called to the hotel shortly before 8pm local time last night.
Neither the victim nor the suspect have been named.

Gardai are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the death and have set up an ‘incident room’ in Portlaoise.
Hollywood actor Dominic West revealed that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were staying in Portlaoise when they were sent away from his mother-in-law’s castle in May 2014, per LaoisLive.
The couple stayed at the Ballyfin Demesne, based at Glin and owned at the time by an American.
“I’m not sure they had a great time. They went to see a movie in the town of Portlaoise, which isn’t exactly glamorous,” Dominic said.
Kim and Kanye married in Italy in May 2014 before traveling to Ireland for a honeymoon at a then-undisclosed location, later identified as Ballyfin Demesne.
The couple filed for divorce in 2021 and finalized their divorce in November 2022.
