US Ambassador to Australia Caroline Kennedy has shown surprising athletic prowess while training with the Brisbane Broncos on her recent trip to Queensland.

Ms. Kennedy, the daughter of former US President John F Kennedy, landed in the Sunshine State this weekend and witnessed the Broncos take down the Titans in a sold-out Cbus Super Stadium.

On Tuesday, Ms. Kennedy attended practice with the Broncos and the 65-year-old showed remarkable tackling, kicking and passing skills for a first-timer.

The following day, the U.S. Embassy in Australia posted a thank you message to the club with a video clip of the activities she participated in.

The @NRL education continues! Ambassador Kennedy is now a fan. Thank you to @brisbanebroncos and Sports Minister @anikawells for the training session,” the post read.

A follow-up post from the account read: ‘Great to meet the players and club management, learn more about Brisbane Broncos Women and the women’s rugby league, and chat with students from the club’s First Nations school mentorship program.’

The club replied: ‘Welcome anytime. Definitely see potential!’

And they weren’t the only ones commenting on her athleticism. Many fans also noticed.

“Credit for giving that tackle a fair whack,” one Twitter user wrote.

“Well done on the tackle, Ambassador!” said another.

“She’s just so real and beautiful,” a third replied.

Ms. Kennedy was sworn in as the US Ambassador to Australia in 2022 after being nominated by President Joe Biden.

The trip to Queensland was Mrs. Kennedy’s first visit to the state since taking up her diplomatic post in Australia.

Washington’s wife in Canberra embraced Summernats like a natural, got to know the contestants at the Dirty Mullet Fest and shined at the Burnout Championship.

Photos and videos posted to the official page of the US Embassy show her laughing and smiling as she enthusiastically smokes the hotrods on the tarmac.

The normally elegant diplomat even complied with the dress code, appearing in a black long-sleeved T-shirt, jeans and cheerfully donning a Summernats cap, waving a “hang loose” hand sign in photos with motorsport enthusiasts.
