A desperate search has been launched for a woman and young girl who disappeared overnight in Melbourne.
Shantell, 38, and Mya, 2, were last seen on Village Drive in Reservoir in Melbourne around 6pm on Thursday.
The police and family are very concerned for their safety, due to the long time they have been missing.
The missing child Mya (pictured) has dark brown curly hair, a slight build and is about 89 cm tall
Shantell is white, with blond hair and a slim build. She is about 5ft 7in tall and was last seen wearing a pink shirt and pink pants

Shantell is white, with blonde hair and a slim build and is about 5-5 feet 9 inches tall.
The mother was last seen wearing a pink shirt and pink pants.
Mya has dark brown curly hair, petite build and is about 89 cm tall.
Police say Shantell is known for Reservoir, Sunshine, St Kilda East and Malvern East.
