Urgent search for boy, 12, who vanished without a trace in Sydney – and has been missing for two days

An urgent search has been launched for a missing 12-year-old boy in Sydney.

Tyrell Simpson-Rodger, 12, was last seen cycling along Yorktown Parade, Maroubra, about 4pm on Friday.

The family notified officers from the Eastern Beaches Police Area Command when he could not be located.

Tyrell is described as white, approximately 4 feet 4 inches tall, of thin build, with blonde hair and green/blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a green school uniform shirt. black shorts and shoes and a black backpack.

The 12-year-old is known to frequent the Glebe, Eastgardens and Maroubra areas.

Tyrell’s family, along with police, are seriously concerned for his well-being.

Police are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact local police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
