Five people are in hospital after eating poisonous mushroom gummies, with some patients experiencing hallucinations.
An emergency health warning has been issued for the Uncle Frog’s Mushroom Gummies Cordyceps and Lion’s Mane variants.
Patients reported nausea, vomiting, disturbing hallucinations, seizure-like activity, dizziness and drowsiness.

NSW Poisons Information Centre Medical Director Dr Darren Roberts has urged people not to consume the products
NSW Poisons Information Center medical director Dr Darren Roberts has urged people not to consume the products.
“We strongly recommend that people do not consume these products,” Dr. Roberts said.
According to Dr. Roberts, the products should be disposed of in a safe manner, out of the reach of children and pets.
“There are ongoing studies into what these products contain,” Dr. Roberts said.
