A major star made a shocking return to a movie set on Tuesday after retiring from acting in 2017.
Daniel Day-Lewis looked completely unrecognizable as he shot motorcycle scenes with actor Sean Bean in Manchester seven years after his retirement.
Daniel, 67, delivered an Oscar-nominated role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s 2017 film Phantom Thread and then retired from acting completely.
But he has come out of retirement and was seen filming a movie titled Avelyn, which is thought to star Sean as an ex-soldier.
While it is not yet known what role Daniel will play, he was seen wearing a khaki padded jacket and white helmet as he drove Sean around.

There was a huge group of crew members on the streets filming the scenes which looked action packed.
In June 2017, Daniel revealed that he had retired from acting.
The British star, who rose to fame in films such as Gangs of New York and The Last of the Mohicans, did not reveal the reason behind his retirement.
A statement from his spokeswoman to Variety confirmed the shocking news.
In it, Leslee Dart said: ‘Daniel Day-Lewis will no longer work as an actor. He is extremely grateful to all his employees and audiences over the many years.
“This is a private decision and neither he nor his representatives will comment further on this matter.”
A few months later in an interview with W magazine, he acknowledged that he felt “great sadness” at the decision, but explained that he felt compelled to make the decision.
‘The urge to quit took root in me, and it became a compulsion. It was something I had to do,” he said.
He continued, “Do I feel better? Not yet. I am very sad. And that’s the right way to feel.’
