Samsung Galaxy S25 leaks have been coming in hot over the past few weeks, and now we have some unofficial renders that give us a better idea of what the Galaxy S25 Ultra could look like. What’s more, it appears to be moving away from the old Galaxy Note aesthetic.
These renders come from a well-known tipster Ice Universe (via 9to5Google), and show a flagship smartphone with corners that are slightly more rounded than those of the current model – see our Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra review for more details.
That would make the phone look more like the other devices in the Galaxy S25 series, rather than continuing the square-cornered tradition of the now-retired Galaxy Note (the last Note launched in 2020).
The Ultra phones have taken over from the Note series in some ways, including stylus support. There was even a recent rumor that Samsung was considering bringing back the Note name by giving the Ultra a new name.
‘Still not perfect’
Aside from the rounded corners, there’s not much to see in these renders that we wouldn’t expect based on the current device. However, it also looks like the sides will be even flatter than they already are.
Please note that these images are not leaked by Samsung or anywhere else. They are custom renders, produced based on the rumors and insider knowledge that has surfaced about the premium smartphone so far.
These renders are described as “not perfect yet” by the tipster who posted them, and we don’t get a photo of the phone’s rear. The phone will reportedly be thinner and lighter than ever when it surfaces – likely in January 2025.
While we’ve seen leaks suggesting extra RAM and a larger display for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, we haven’t seen many renders. Some images posted back in March suggested there would be minimal changes from the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s appearance.
