Student protesters at the University of Chicago have posted a list of supplies they need to continue their pro-Palestinian camps.
The list of supplies, ranging from first aid supplies to HIV testing and Plan B, was posted to an Instagram story Thursday by organizers of the University of Chicago’s pro-Palestinian movements.
The supplies marked “most needed” included a table, heated gloves, wound pack gauze, portable chargers, gauze, CAT tourniquets, ACE bandages, ABD wound pads, goggles, emergency bandages, and trauma wipes.
Other requested supplies include toiletries such as Vaseline, tweezers, lipstick, contact solutions and cases, menstrual products.
While most college protests in the Chicago area have remained relatively peaceful, student demonstrators have also called for more protection-oriented gear, such as buckets with lids, helmets, butterfly fasteners and IFAK bags.

‘Do you want students to die of dehydration? This is basic humanitarian assistance that we are asking for. Can people please get a glass of water?’ protest organizer Johannah King-Slutzky told reporters Tuesday.
But the student broke down when reporters pointed out the irony of demanding supplies from an institution whose rules she and other protesters were actively breaking.
“No one is asking them to bring anything, we are asking them not to violently prevent us from delivering basic humanitarian aid. We expect them not to do that,” she said.
Protesters at Columbia University demanded at a news conference Tuesday that food and water be brought to their encampment so they don’t “die of dehydration and hunger.”
