Recently divorced Kelsea Ballerini, Kelly Clarkson and Carly Pearce brought down the house on Wednesday with a powerful performance at the 56th annual CMA Awards.
While performing their collaborative single You’re Drunk, Go Home, the trio took the stage to show the world that they are doing their ‘our thing’ and will not tolerate unwanted advances from tipsy men.
“You’re drunk, go home/If you try to hook up/You have to do it alone,” the performers. “The way you slurp and the way you stumble/You’re not getting my number.”
girl power! Recently divorced Kelsea Ballerini, Kelly Clarkson and Carly Pearce took down the house on Wednesday with a powerful performance at the 56th annual CMA Awards.
They urged all the creeps to “run away,” as none of them are “looking for a one-night rodeo” in the ironic track from Ballerini’s new album Subject to Change.
For the performance, Ballerini, 29, looked nothing short of sensational as she rocked a figure-hugging denim mini dress and thigh-high boots with black and yellow flowers on them.
Likewise, Pearce, who filed for divorce in 2020 from her husband, compatriot Michael Ray, after eight months of marriage in 2020, jumped at the chance to show off her incredibly toned legs in a light blue romper with a giant bow.

“How many times have you said you loved me when it wasn’t true?” he asks plaintively. “I’m just wondering, how long has it been for you?”
During his new interview, he confessed that the song was “very personal and quite heavy”, but also shared how moved he was by the positive reactions to it.
He acknowledged that it had been a rough few months in my life, and yes, writing this song really helped me get to the bottom of a lot of it, and when I played it for the first time, I just played it because I needed to to get it off my chest.’
