United Airlines has offered to fly DeMar DeRozan’s daughter, Diar, to Miami Friday night for Chicago’s playoff game against the Heat after her tactics helped the Bulls make a screaming comeback.
The nine-year-old became an overnight sensation following her antics during the Bulls’ play-in tournament play at her father’s old home, Scotiabank Center in Toronto, Wednesday night.
Diar yelled repeatedly every time a Raptors player stepped to the free throw line in an attempt to scare them off.
And it seemed to have worked, as Toronto missed half of their free throws, going 18 of 36 from the charity streak, as Chicago staged a comeback to win 109-105.
With the win, the Bulls went on to face the Heat in Miami on Friday night in a win-and-in clash and United Airlines seemed determined to get Chicago’s secret weapon to Florida.

The company, which sponsors the Bulls’ United Arena, took to Twitter to announce that they had reserved a seat for the youngster – if her father would allow her to go.
“The flight is ours. What do you say, @DeMar_DeRozan? We are happy to bring Diar’s talents to South Beach,” the airline tweeted.
United had quoted-tweeted the post from the Bulls account asking her teacher to excuse Diar from school on Friday.
Despite her success, DeRozan had insisted during his post-game press conference that Diar not make the trip to Miami, as she could not afford to miss more school.
‘No, she has to go back to school. School [comes] first,” DeRozan said.
He did admit, however, that he was glad he got to attend the game in Toronto after she begged him to let her go.

The Bulls’ account jokingly asked her teacher to excuse Diar from school on Friday
“You know it’s crazy, my daughter called me the other day when she got home from school,” DeRozan explained. “And she said, ‘Dad, can I come to the game in Toronto,’ I remember [her] coming to all games in Toronto when she was a kid.
“I almost said no because she’s at home at school. She kept asking, she was adamant to come and support [us].
And I said, “Okay, you can miss a day of school and come to a game,” and I’m glad I did. I certainly owe her some money.’
However, with United’s bid on the table, the six-time All-Star could change his mind.
