Uma Thurman will star opposite her 25-year-old daughter Maya Hawke for the first time in the upcoming movie The Kill Room.
Maya – who is known for her role as Robin Buckley in Netflix’s Stranger Things – is one of two children the Kill Bill star shares with her ex-husband Ethan Hawke, 52.
And fans first got a look at the mother-daughter duo’s roles in the film’s first trailer, which dropped Thursday.
It takes viewers on a thrilling journey through dark comedy starring Debi Mazur and Joe Manganiello.
The film also reunites Thurman with her Pulp Fiction co-star Samuel L. Jackson, 74, nearly 30 years after the iconic movie was released.

The film is about “an assassin, his boss, an art dealer and a money laundering scheme that accidentally turns the assassin into a nocturnal avant-garde sensation, one that forces her to play the art world against the underworld,” according to the film. IMDB short content.
The trailer opens with a shot of Thurman and Jackson’s backs as they stand on the banks of the Hudson River.
“If you make art from a truthful place, people will find out about you,” says Thurman ominously.
The trailer then flashes to shots of Jackson, Debi Mazur, Hawke and Joe Manganiello before showing someone being stalked from behind and having a plastic bag forcibly pulled over his head.
Then Jackson and Maganiello are in a dark room with boxes of money and Jackson says, “We’re a team, aren’t we?” We need to find a new way to handle the money.’
And that’s where Thurman’s character, the art dealer, comes in.
Jackson visits her because he knows she has a cash flow problem and says, “Maybe we can help each other.”
Manganiello plays an artist who creates the art that becomes the foundation of the money laundering scheme.
“This classy art gallery run by this young lady, who will take a fair share for herself and give us a nice, clean check,” Jackson explains to his co-conspirators.

Jackson reveals the artist’s name is The Bagman and he becomes a viral sensation with hordes of fans trying to figure out his true identity.
The trailer then flashes once again to a man smothering another man with a plastic bag and then that bag is incorporated into the art.
The trailer ends with Thurman telling Jackson, “Are you really trying to accuse me of laundering?”
The Kill Room is written by Jonathan Jacobson and directed by Nicol Paone.
The film will hit theaters on September 28.
