Uma Thurman showed off her chic sense of style on Thursday when she appeared at the New York International Children’s Film Festival Benefit in New York.
The Pulp Fiction actress, 53 – who is mother to Stranger Things star Maya Hawke – was also the honor at the special event held at Scandinavia House.
The star – who is a longtime NYICFF judge – dressed to impress in a black skirt that fell straight down and stopped a few inches above her ankles.
She added a fitted, matching blazer that tied at the front and for a pop of color, she also opted for a red scarf that tied in a loose knot.
Thurman donned a pair of black closed-toe pumps to complete her overall ensemble for the evening.

Her blonde locks were parted to the side and flowed effortlessly down, brushing her shoulders in light waves.
Uma opted for minimal accessories and wore a pair of small statement earrings and a red bracelet on her left wrist.
The star’s makeup was done classically and consisted of a coat of mascara on her lashes and a golden, shimmering shadow around her eyes.
A light blush was applied to her cheekbones for a radiant glow, while a bold red shade was worn on her lips.
The Kill Bill actress was spotted striking a few poses upon arriving at the venue, and later in the evening she took the stage to give a speech after being honored at the benefit.
The event helped support the “FilmEd Field Trip Program featuring food, drinks, an auction and short films,” while honoring “actress, attorney and longtime NYICFF judge Uma Thurman,” according to the festival website.
The Oscar-nominated actress is mother to actress Maya Hawke, 25, and actor Levon Hawke, 22 – whom she shares with ex Ethan Hawke. The couple was married from 1998 to 1995.
She was also married to Gary Oldman from 1990 to 1992, and Uma also shares daughter Luna, 11, with ex Arpad Busson.

Last year, in October, Thurman opened up People about her relationship with Maya during the Room to Grow 25th Anniversary Gala.
‘What isn’t a mother-daughter bond? Good communication. That’s a big challenge, to make sure that we keep the communication with your family healthy, strong and open,” she told the newspaper.
Maya has followed in her mother’s acting footsteps and has appeared in projects like Stranger Things, Do Revenge and Maestro.
While you’re talking to Access earlier last year, the Dangerous Liaisons star discussed her eldest child entering the “public arena” in the entertainment industry.
“It’s a complicated career,” Uma explained, later adding that her daughter is “a sensitive person.”
“Any protective parent would want their child to enter the public arena, not because he or she wants to be in the public arena, but because he or she is so creative. You just wish they would find another way to be creative.”
However, Thurman recognizes Maya’s talent, saying, “She’s such a brilliant actress at the end of the day.” There’s clearly nothing else she would have ever done. Her talent was so great. That was what she had to do.”
