Uma Thurman, 52, looks elegant in black coat and trousers at Broadway opening night of Prima Facie
Uma Thurman was one of the famous faces to attend Broadway’s opening night prima face Sunday at the John Golden Theater in New York City.
The 52-year-old Kill Bill star showed off her chic style as she walked the green carpet in a double-breasted pea coat over a black jumper with blue slacks and sneakers.
The Academy Award nominee accentuated her natural beauty for the event with a light makeup palette, including a dab of eyeliner and a red lip stain.
The mother-of-three wore a $3,550 Small Saffiano Prada handbag, styled her long blonde locks with a side-parting behind her head, and added a pair of tiny stud earrings.
The highly anticipated show is a ten-week one-woman play at the John Golden Theater and stars Jodie Comer, 30, who will make her Broadway debut tonight.

Other big names in attendance at the Broadway opening included Matt Damon and his wife of 17 years, Luciana Barroso.
The 52-year-old Good Will Hunting star – who recently premiered his new movie Air with BFF Ben Affleck – flaunted his age-defying good looks in a brown jacket over a black polo shirt that matched Luciana’s dress.
Fatal Attraction star Glenn Close, 75, was spotted attending the show after ‘securing off and resting’ through March following her Covid diagnosis.
Broadway legend Bernadette Peters, known for her four-octave soprano pipes, rocked her signature ginger curls over a black ensemble.
Earlier this month, Prima Facie star Comer was crowned Best Actress at the 2023 Olivier Awards at London’s Royal Albert Hall for her West End debut in the critically acclaimed legal thriller.
Written by Australian-British writer Suzie Miller, the script won two awards for Best Actress and Best New Play.

The plot follows “a young, brilliant lawyer who likes to win” and who “has worked his way up from the working class to be at the top of her game.”
‘But one unexpected event forces her to confront the boundaries where the patriarchal power of law, burden of proof and morality diverge,” reads the official synopsis.
During her acceptance speech, Comer gushed about how much the play “changed my life,” thanking playwright Suzie Miller “for writing the most exquisite play I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading.”
She then spoke directly to aspiring actors and encouraged them not to give up on their dreams.
“One thing I would say to all the kids who haven’t been to drama school, who can’t afford to go to drama school, who have been rejected from drama school, don’t let anyone tell you it’s not possible.”
“It may take the stars to align and you need to be met with generous, kind, patient people, but it’s possible,” she said.
Comer concluded her speech by sending love to her mother and father and wishing her grandfather a happy 82nd birthday.
Prima Facie – with a running time of 100 minutes – premiered for the first time at the Harold Pinter Theater in London’s West End in April 2022 and ran through June 18, 2022.
On Broadway, the show is scheduled to run for 10 weeks at the John Golden Theater.

Comer received critical acclaim, which she said was “incredible” and something she “never dreamed of” in an interview with the PA news agency ahead of Sunday’s ceremony.

“It’s so incredibly heartwarming to be in the theater every night and feel everyone’s presence and shared energy, so I’m so excited, I feel very lucky to be able to visit again.”
