Touring electronic music festival Ultra kicked off in Melbourne with a bang, with revelers braving the gloomy weather by donning their best clothes, ready to dance the night away.
The mood was high as attendees flocked to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday for the highly anticipated one-night event.
The wet weather was not enough to dampen public enthusiasm for the event, which has been running since 2018.
Australian DJ Darley kicked off the festivities with a set on the main stage, followed by performances from Jonas Blue, Acraze and Sub Zero Project.

Melbourne was drenched on Saturday as temperatures dipped to 17C.

However, the music festival crowd was all smiles as they made their way through the event gates and into the outdoor venue.
The rain was bad news for Victoria Police after a van got stuck in nearby fields.
Police attempted to push the van from the front before several attendees rushed over to help.
The group pushed the rear and doors of the vehicle to free it from the mud.

Ultra, a one-night event, had four stages surrounding the venue: the Main Stage, Resistance Stage, UMF Radio Stage, and Ultra Park Stage.
All tickets for the event, from $155 general admission to $300 VIP tickets, sold out Friday night.
The festival ended with supporting act Spice.
