Ulrika Jonsson has said that Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have ‘forgotten’ their audience due to their ‘war of egos’ amid the presenting duo’s ongoing feud.

It comes after it was reported that This Morning’s co-hosts are ‘not as close as they once were’ and barely speak off-camera now.

Dig into the drama in her column for The sunUlrika, 55, criticized daytime TV’s “narcissism, vanity and hierarchy” as she wondered if this is the end of the road for Holly and Phil.

The former model said: “Daytime TV is a vibrant, narcissistic melting pot of ego, vanity, hierarchy and domination, not to mention the bevy of managers and agents backstage ready to compete for the best results of their clients. .

“However, for the devoted followers of the show, I suspect this war of the egos is a great grief.”

Holly’s so-called feud with her old boyfriend Phillip reportedly started three years ago, after she cut ties with their talent agencies.

But as the drama continues with no sign of the presenters resigning, it has been revealed that the split may have started three years ago, when Holly began to “quietly distance herself” from her old boyfriend.

It is also thought that Phillip was annoyed when Holly got a job filling in for Ant McPartlin as host of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! in 2018.
