Ulrika Jonsson reveals her ‘upset’ son, 15, confided he’s being teased at school over her racy nude Instagram snaps

Ulrika Jonsson has revealed that her 15-year-old son has been teased for her racy nude snaps on social media.

The TV personality, 55, is no stranger to flashing the flesh on Instagram, with one photo in particular where she poses completely nude while holding a wheelbarrow raising more than a few eyebrows.

And while Ulrika was proud of her body and what her photos represent, she shared that her son’s fellow students didn’t feel the same way and then chose her son Malcolm.

In her latest column in The sun responding to Ashley James’ Instagram diatribe about the sexual objectification of women’s bodies, Ulrika shared her own experience with this and explained how her son has suffered as a result.

She said: ‘Recently, my youngest male Ungrateful – a hormonal 15-year-old boy – confided in me that he had been bullied by some older boys at school about me “posting nudes” on social media. He was understandably upset and concerned.”

Ooh I say! One photo in particular, in which she poses completely nude while holding a wheelbarrow, raised quite a few eyebrows

The mother of four shares youngest child Malcolm with her ex-husband Brian Monet.

She shared how she quickly realized what image he meant, how she posed for the nude to draw attention to StrongMen, a men’s mental health charity, and made “no financial gain” from it.

Ulrika added to the photo, “Although I was applauded by many for my bravery, I was also cheated. Some said I looked skinny and old, that I was attention seeking, sad and desperate. This is normal when women show off parts of their bodies or pose ‘sexily’.

She added that when women expose themselves “physically,” they become “targets” of those who have opinions about women’s bodies.

In addition to humiliation for her son, the former Gladiators host shared how Instagram later removed the photo, claiming she was “asking for sex,” with an exasperated Ulrika remarking, “we can’t win.”

Meanwhile, Ulrika also turned her mind to Ashley James’s recent Instagram post where she shared her thoughts on the subject of sexual objectification in an empowerment-positive body post.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 36, reflected on why women are objectified after she left home in a nursing vest and felt the need to cover up in public because she was braless and felt paranoid, while men like to go topless.

While agreeing, Ulrika claimed that Ashley’s views were “not a revolutionary thought,” explaining how she herself has been “on the receiving end” of this objectification “longer and more often than she has worn see-through tops.”

Speaking out: Ulrika shared her own experience with this and explained how her son has suffered as a result, adding that he was “understandably upset and concerned”

She shared: ‘I know it’s not fun. I also find it humiliating and irritating. And no one can pretend it’s fair. As women, we are still treated and viewed differently than men. We’ve gotten better at calling it out, thank goodness, but sadly I doubt it will ever end. At least not in my lifetime.’

Ulrika added that with the invention of social media, women are now able to post what they like and have a “perception of control” over “our own marketing.”

She continued that while social media is great for spreading a message and giving people a sense of “autonomy,” on the other hand, there are always negative reactions, with the star noting that you have to “accept” that everything we post won’t always be liked or “popular.”

It comes after Ulrika revealed earlier this month that her sex life is “spicier” than ever now that she’s in her 50s.

Ulrika made a very X-rated confession when she joked about her dinner preferences.

She shared a photo of her plate with her Instagram followers, revealing that she was ready to feast Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes, green peas and a splash of gravy.

Opinion: ‘I know it’s not nice. I also find it humiliating and irritating. And no one can pretend it’s fair. As women we are still treated and viewed differently than men’

Still, the Swedish stunner couldn’t help but crack a very cheeky joke in her caption, writing, ‘Obligator balls last night at the Swedish place.

“(Never as good as the meaty balls I normally like in my mouth.”

Ulrika previously confessed that she feels “sexier” than ever as she prepares to enter “her sixth decade” of her life, noting that when she turned 50, she felt “much more confident about who she is and what she wanted.”

The former Gladiators host said she has “learned to accept” and “embrace” aging because she no longer cares what people think of her.

Ulrika went on to say that ’50 is the new 20′ and that she has become ‘fearless and unafraid’ with age.
