Ukrainian couple get married on live TV before fleeing to bomb shelter
A Ukrainian couple who tied the knot on live TV was forced to flee to a bomb shelter as Vladimir Putin unleashed more missile terror on Kiev on their wedding day.
Air defense fighter Oleksandr Tereshchenko, 34, married war paramedic Tetyana Snidanok on the 1+1 breakfast TV show yesterday.
The pair exchanged vows and sealed their marriage with a passionate kiss on camera before performing their first dance for presenters and technical staff in the studio.
But just minutes later, the pair were forced to run for cover along with several other residents when the all-too-familiar sound of air sirens began again, hinting that Putin had ordered more barbaric attacks on the Ukrainian capital.
Despite the terrifying attack on their country by Russia, the newlyweds did not let their special day be ruined.

Footage from the bomb shelter even shows them laughing and smiling, with host Katya Nesterenko sharing a video of them kissing at around 11:30 a.m., as locals in Kiev also took cover.
Kyiv air raid siren. Wedding. Cover up,” she said on Facebook. ‘Everything will be Ukraine!’
The new voice of Ukraine reports that Oleksandr and Tetyana remained in the bomb shelter until the air raid siren was turned off – while others who hid underground congratulated them on their marriage.
Monday’s attacks followed a barrage of attacks on Kiev by Russia, which has increased their frequency of missiles in anticipation of Ukraine’s counter-offensive.
Kiev fell victim to the largest drone strike since the start of the Russian war on Saturday evening.
At least one person was killed and several others injured, according to local authorities.
Yesterday, panicked schoolchildren screamed in fear as they sprinted for their lives to the safety of nearby bomb shelters.
Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska shared footage of the children running through the streets of Kiev on Twitter, writing: “Kiev. Morning after sleepless night under fire. Fear again…

“Children run and scream for shelter at the sound of explosions. But it shouldn’t be like that – everywhere. Fear cannot be turned off – but we don’t stop, we act. Ukraine continues to fight.’
Ukraine shot down 11 cruise missiles and ballistic missiles during Monday’s second attack on Kiev, said Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, commander-in-chief of the armed forces.
Heavy airstrikes some six hours earlier had targeted the capital, knocked out five Ukrainian aircraft in the west of the country and set fire to the Black Sea port of Odessa.
This morning, as Kiev fought back, the Ukrainian army said: “In the past 24 hours, the enemy has already carried out three attacks.
“In addition, the enemy is constantly changing its offensive weapon, after the combined missile-drone and then ballistically, the aggressor used exclusively UAVs.”

Moscow came under fire this morning from suspected Ukrainian kamikaze drones, just hours after Putin unleashed strikes on Kiev.
Several buildings were damaged in affluent Moscow suburbs, including the elite Rublyovka district in the southwest of the capital.
Ukraine did not immediately comment on the attack, which would be one of the deepest and most daring attacks on Russia since the Kremlin launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine more than 15 months ago.
