The riddles were published by the National Guard of Ukraine on Tuesday. ‘Attention task. Find the #sniper!’ the organization wrote, challenging its supporters to identify well-hidden shooters.
At least one sniper is hiding in the bushes of the forest in each photograph, but there could be more.
Snipers on the battlefield use the grass, trees, and bushes to hide and go undetected. They are also known to wear ghillie suits, a type of camouflage clothing designed to resemble the background environment, such as foliage, snow, or sand. The National Guard offered no clues to help.
In this case, the Ukrainian snipers have used their snowy surroundings to blur it, making them hard to spot even in these close-up images, and virtually impossible to see at long distances.

There have been several reports of Ukrainian snipers performing extraordinary feats since Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of his country on February 24.
In November, Ukrainian special forces released extraordinary footage claiming to show a sharpshooter hitting two Russian soldiers with a single shot. Including the astonishing shot from a distance, the sniper was able to take out five of Putin’s troops in just five minutes, they said at the time.
The shots are believed to have been fired from a range of nearly 4,000 feet, and were reported just days after another Ukrainian shooter claimed to have executed the second-longest combat death in history.
The sniper claimed to have hit a target at a distance of 2,710m, around 1.7 miles, also in November.
