Uh oh… Zotac just leaked Nvidia’s next-gen launch lineup, including RTX 5090 GPU with 32GB of VRAM
- Nvidia RTX 5090 will have 32 GB, based on leaked information from Zotac’s website
- The next generation of GPUs are likely the RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti and 5070
- However, there is no sign of the RTX 5060 in this leak
Zotac has just leaked details about what could be Nvidia’s first wave of next-gen desktop graphics cards.
VideoCardz has done the digging here and found details that Zotac accidentally broadcast on its own website, showing us the Blackwell GPUs the graphics card maker will initially debut (at least in theory). Additionally, Zotac has also dropped a tasty bit of information about the VRAM configuration for what is sure to be the next-generation flagship.
The models listed by Zotac – and any spilled details have now been removed, we should clarify – were as follows:
- Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090
- Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090D
- Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080
- Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti
- Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070
The Nvidia RTX 5090D is the flagship variant for China and follows in the footsteps of the RTX 4090D, as you probably know.
As for the VRAM information, Zotac has filters for its GPUs to allow sorting by memory type and capacity, and has incorrectly placed a GDDR7 option in the former, as well as a 32GB allocation in the latter.
This shows us that RTX 5000 graphics cards will feature GDDR7 VRAM as (heavily) rumored – all models will presumably use this high-end memory – and that there will be 32GB of video RAM in the lineup, as there isn’t one included the current generation (which comes in at 24 GB).
The GPU combined with 32 GB must of course be the RTX 5090, and this is what is already rumored about the next generation flagship.
Analysis: What about the RTX 5060, though?
With this kind of work going on with manufacturer websites, in the background – well, it was supposed to be quiet, in the background, but it was clearly accidentally sent live by a Zotac employee – shows that we are on the verge are about to get a new RTX 5000 GPUs at CES 2025. Although at least Nvidia has almost said so at this point.
The really interesting part here is the underlining of the fact that the RTX 5090 is a mighty GPU with 32GB of video RAM, and the range of models initially available, which are pretty much as expected. Well, the RTX 5090 and 5080 are either way, the rumor mill isn’t quite sure whether we’ll also get the RTX 5070 or the 5070 Ti – and perhaps this is a suggestion that Nvidia will release both. Alternatively, perhaps one of those RTX 5070 variants will arrive a little later.
Notably, there’s no mention of the RTX 5060, which has recently been rumored as a possible GPU launch for later in the first quarter of 2025. Zotac may not be preparing for that, as it’s a few months away. later. first launches – or perhaps this is a hint that this lower-level Blackwell graphics card won’t arrive until later in 2025.
