Shocking footage has emerged of a woman dressed in casual clothes punching a supermarket worker after he tried to check her bag.
The incident happened at around 2.20pm on Tuesday at the Silver Sands IGA in Mandurah, south of Perth.
The woman, who was dressed in gym clothes favored by Eshay, had attempted to leave the store through a blocked exit when she was asked to check her bag by a male staff member.
CCTV footage of the incident shows the employee grabbing the woman’s bag as she tried to leave the store.
The woman is then seen running back into the store and hitting the man twice in the back of the head before yelling at him.

The pair continued to fight over the bag before another customer approached to try to de-escalate the situation.
The scuffle ended when two other staff members came to help their colleague, allowing the woman to grab her bag and leave.
Mandurah Police are investigating the incident.
Police have urged anyone with information, including the woman’s identity, to contact Crime Stoppers.
