UFO or drone? ‘Flying Cylinder’ Hovering Over New York City’s LaGuardia Airport Stuns Passengers

A woman has claimed she witnessed a possible UFO while flying in a passenger plane over New York City.

Michelle Reyes shared the video online, which she shot from her window seat, showing a “flying cylinder” whizzing by as she traveled through LaGuardia Airport.

She told NewsNation that she saw the black object moving at a high speed β€” much faster than the plane β€” and that another passenger also witnessed it.

A UFO expert analyzed the clip and found no evidence that the video was fake or a hoax, but some have suggested that the object was a drone.

Michelle Reyes spoke with NewsMax’s Ashleigh Banfield about the mysterious object she saw while flying over New York City

β€œThe first thing I did was email the FAA to let them know what I saw,” Reyes said NewsMax‘s Ashleigh Banfield, noting that she has not yet received a response.

She also sent the images to Enigma Labs and the National UFO Database.

Reyes also shared the clip with her father, a former member of the US Navy, who speculated that the object could be a drone, but he said the proximity of the aircraft was very surprising.

Ben Hansen, host of Discovery’s UFO Witness, appeared on NewsNation to address what could have been captured in the video.

β€œI have found no evidence that she faked this or committed any deception,” Hansen said.

β€œI didn’t do that from the beginning, but we had to put it through the right data analysis.

“It’s there, it’s very clear, which is unusual.”

He continued to suggest that the object was not that far from the plane.

Viewers of the video had suggested it was nothing more than an insect caught on camera, but Hansen noted that the plane must have been flying at more than 200 miles per hour because it had recently taken off from the airport.

“It expires at one-seventh of a second and is present in five frames of the video,” he explained.

Reyes also told NewsNation that another passenger also noticed the object.

β€œIt’s a little unnerving that someone else saw what I saw,” she said.

Reyes had shared the video on her social media last month, but it appeared to have been β€œstolen” and reposted by others as if they were her friend.
