UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has praised controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate for fighting against male emasculation and “pushing men to accountability.”

Just a week after reclaiming the middleweight title at UFC 287 by knocking out old rival Alex Pereira, ‘The Last Stylebender’ has popped up online to share his views on masculinity.

Appearing on the Honey Badger Hour podcast, featuring former MMA fighter Emilio Urrutia, Adesanya explained that self-proclaimed misogynist Tate tries to hold men “accountable.”

‘Jordan [Peterson]Andrew [Tate], Dave Goggins. Boys like that are the ones who really push men to be accountable as men,” Adesanya said.

“The world is now trying to soften us. I mean what did they say? I think it was Jordan who actually said how you used to be, if someone like the kings and whatever wants to stop a riot or a rebellion, kill all men of fighting age.

“You can’t kill them now, so what do you do? You ridicule them. Make them feel emasculated. Literal.’

Ex-Big Brother contestant Tate is currently under house arrest in Romania after being detained in December on suspicion of human trafficking, rape and forming an organized crime group to exploit women. He denies the allegations.

Adesanya went on to say that many men today struggle because they “react” to problems too quickly instead of taking the time to properly “react” to them in a calm frame of mind.

“One of the tools I learned in therapy a year or two ago is ‘don’t react, react,'” Adesanya said.

“I honestly feel that the situation we’re in as men would save a lot of men a lot of trouble, and a lot of murder, too. I saw too many get angry and stick their chests out…”

“Because they’re responding, you need to respond. Take that time, breathe. Meditate and exercise. That’s the s**t right there.’

Earlier in the week, Dana White indicated that Adesanya could be back in the cage soon.

Most fighters take some time off after title fights, but the UFC boss says Adesanya “blew up” phones at UFC HQ asking for another fight.

“This guy already blew up Hunter and the guys – ‘When is my next fight, when is my next fight, I want to fight again, I want to fight again,’ White said at the UFC Kansas City post-fight press conference.

“I love that about Israel Adesanya. Israel Adesanya wants to fight non-stop and constantly. And he wants to fight everyone. So… yeah, we’re working on that and he’ll be fighting again soon, maybe before the end of the summer.’

Adesanya has had multiple wins over many of the top middleweight contenders, so it is currently unclear who he will face next.

Australian fans will be hoping that the country’s first UFC champion, Robert Whittaker, will earn a third fight with Adesanya.
