UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland confronts trespasser at his house in CRAZY viral video – before admitting that the man in question was a ‘really nice guy’

UFC champion Sean Strickland was confronted by an intruder in his home in a stunning viral video.

The UFC middleweight titleholder – who claimed the title in September after a stunning victory over Israel Adesanya – has a tendency to find himself in controversial situations.

The American has been making headlines for some bizarre reasons with a number of outbursts and antics lately, such as when he was spotted chasing a man while holding a flamethrower.

While his most recent incident wasn’t as heated, it still showed the quick-thinking nature of Strickland — who later paid most of his attention to the interaction.

In a video that went viral on X, formerly known as Twitter, a man is seen running down the street before diving between two cards on Strickland’s porch.

The UFC champion marched out after spotting the man through his Ring doorbell

As he hides, the camera – connected to Strickland’s Ring doorbell system – cuts to one of his other doors and shows the UFC champion marching out of his house.

Screams are heard almost immediately before the video ends abruptly, leaving fans curious as to how the encounter ended.

Luckily for them, Strickland revealed details about the encounter, both on a fan page account and on his own personal Instagram account.

In response to another user, Strickland said, “He was chased by security. The story was that he hit his sister, took off, slashed his tire and disabled his vehicle and fled on foot.”

Strickland then posted the footage to his personal account, with the caption: ‘I checked my ring last night and thought he stole my car or tried to break it in… What would you have done?

‘I need full coverage on my truck lol!!! Also a very nice guy…’.

Strickland claimed on his Instagram account that the offender was a “really nice guy.”

In September, MMA legend Ken Shamrock emphasized that Strickland’s controversial behavior is a positive for the UFC.

UFC hall-of-famer Shamrock believes ‘characters’ are a good thing for the sport, as he compared Strickland to Irishman McGregor. ‘Notorious’ is also known for his bizarre comments and fiery arguments with opponents before fights.

“For me, I think, especially in the world of fighting, you have all kinds of characters and you have to be ready for that,” he told Fighting inside. ‘It’s marketing. As long as people want to hate you, or like you, as long as they participate. So it doesn’t matter,” Shamrock said.

‘I think McGregor is the perfect example. He crossed the line a few times with things that were a little questionable, but it still draws a lot of viewers. As an owner or as a person who promotes fights, you want that, but you have to be able to keep it somewhat hidden, where it doesn’t go too far, where you hurt people in the process. So I don’t mind’.
