Bryce Mitchell has spent the first half of the year away from the Octagon, revealing he has been on a six-month 'self-imposed' concussion protocol following his fight against Josh Emmett last month.
Mitchell was on the wrong end of one of the most terrifying knockouts in MMA history in the Dec. 12 UFC 296 fight when Emmett, a heavy hitter, landed a devastating blow to the head, sending his opponent straight to fell to the ground and fainted. .
