Joe Rogan had fans cheering him on to fight after the UFC commentator and podcast host posted a video of him hitting a heavy bag.
Rogan, 56, showed off his impressive physique and raw punching power in a viral clip posted on Tuesday. The short video mainly showed off Rogan’s kicking ability, while also throwing punch combinations.
Fans went to the comment section to compliment his shape and form, with some insisting he would do well in an MMA or boxing match.
“Bro needs to train [for the] UFC,” one user suggested, while another noted, “Mans a beast.”
“He’d definitely beat Jake Paul too,” a third suggested. A fourth user claimed “He’s ready for it,” after the previous comment read: “Imagine getting kicked like that.”

The former taekwondo champion is known for his comedy, commentary and massive podcast
Although he is known for his work as a commentator, podcaster and stand-up comedian, Rogan is no stranger to martial arts.
The New Jersey native took up karate at the age of 14 and taekwondo a year later. At the age of 19, Rogan won the US Open Championship taekwondo tournament as a lightweight and eventually became an instructor in the discipline.
Rogan also competed in amateur kickboxing and had a 2-1 record before retiring at the age of 21 due to frequent headaches and fear of injury.
In the post, Rogan claimed he couldn’t kick for a year due to a knee injury, but he recovered with the help of healthcare company Ways2Well.
“I haven’t kicked for a year due to a knee injury and thanks to @ways2well I am now 100% pain free,” Rogan wrote. “The video of me hitting that bag was yesterday, and if I did that the next day my knee would hurt, but today I feel absolutely perfect.”
“That bag weighs 130 pounds and the amount of torque generated by pedaling at full power is just insane. It’s one of my favorite things to do and the best way ever to release stress, but before @ways2well, it felt like every time I did it, my knee just went up further. I can’t thank them enough.’
