A fun-loving Uber driver has been hailed as “adorable” after he went viral for coming up with a hilarious interactive game that invites passengers to reunite him with his family.
The driver, who gives his name as ‘Wallace’, has been seen on Twitter nearly 20 million times since a passenger filmed himself playing the touchscreen game on Aug. 3.
Players are invited to guess how many Uber rides their driver has taken as he drags his clumsy avatar through various scrapes, including a broken leg and a trip to his family.
“Is everyone having a good day over there?” Wallace asks his passenger in the video uploaded by @truewagner.
“I like driving!”
‘Wallace’ goes to great lengths to keep passengers happy in the video shot in an unfamiliar city
Good? How many do you think he took?
Respectfully wrong! Wallace’s avatar bows as he passes judgment on the passenger’s unfortunate gamble
“Have you ever seen this in your Uber?!” the poster asked as he uploaded his video.
And it was clear that the answer was no, as viewers poured their verdict on social media.
“The most adorable thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life,” @squiliamfancy replied.
“This guy gets 10 stars on a 5 star scale,” @ThatBlokeBob wrote.
‘He’s gonna be all famous..and with that comes money..hes gonna kiss all his uber days goodbye,’ added @MahaYousef462.
The 50-second clip begins with Wallace’s avatar responding with a respectful bow but an emphatic “NO,” as the passenger misguesses his driver’s Uber rides at just 789.
The passenger is then asked to “return Wallace to his family” by dragging the avatar through a maze to a picture of his loved ones.
It takes a slightly alarming turn as passengers have to drag a splint and some gauze while the avatar sits on the ground with a broken leg.
And passengers would love to be driven in it, judging by the reactions on social media
