We were invited to Usyk’s camp a while ago to see his brutal training regimen.

He said boxing was not his first calling. About his last conversation with his deceased father, a bomb that went off near his daughter’s school.

He has quite a story. There’s still so much going on outside of boxing, in his home country, where he doesn’t know if his family is still alive when he wakes up in the morning.

If you read one thing today, it should be this.

If Fury and Usyk fight this weekend, it will be for the undisputed. Someone’s 0 has to go, and all that.

The build up wasn’t great, but these two are undoubtedly the best out there. It’s really hard to split them.

Against Ngannou, Fury weighed 277.7 pounds, or 126 kg, or 19st 8 pounds.

He’s expected to come in tonight in possibly his brightest spot yet. At least that’s according to John Fury, and we know he’s not someone who tries to grab attention…

That’s up from 245.5 pounds in 2012 for his win over Vinny Maddalone. I’m not sure if he’ll be lighter, maybe somewhere closer to what he was when he beat Wilder, which was 273 and then 277 pounds. Maybe a little less.

I mentioned yesterday’s press conference where Fury refused to look at his opponent during the face-off. It made for an awkward exchange with Usyk doing the usual mutual stuff, but Fury just posed.

He stopped calling the Ukrainian an ugly rabbit and ignored him completely. But why?

He then revealed the reason why, and it was because Usyk apparently “looked scary.”

I’m just here now to relax and wait until I get in the ring on Saturday night.

In terms of actual weights, we expect Fury to come in lighter than ever before. He has shown his impressive transformation in recent days and seems to take Usyk a lot more seriously than Francis Ngannou.

Usyk – a former cruiserweight, remember – is a bit more stocky at the moment. He has a disadvantage in terms of height and reach, but hopes to use his boxing brains to achieve victory.
